Private Tuition - Non-MUD Members

Is there a particular skill or technique you’ve been struggling with? A method you’ve been wanting to learn? This is where we solve that!

This class is one-on-one, and designed for students who already have experience with ceramics and are wanting to work on one specific issue regarding either wheel throwing, hand building or sculpture.

Please note: work created in Private Tuition will generally not be fired, as the focus is on technique. If you’d like your work to be fired, arrangements can be made at a rate of $3 per pound. Before attending your class, we ask that you familiarize yourself with the MUD Ceramics Studio handbook and sign our liability waiver. The signed waiver can be returned either via email (office@mudceramics.org) or in person at the studio. For cancellations of Private Tuition sessions, we require a 24 hour notice - sessions canceled less than 24 hours in advance will not be eligible for a refund.

In the event of adverse weather conditions, MUD Ceramics Studio will remain open for classes unless a Travel Advisory is issued recommending the suspension of non-essential travel.
