May 17th, 2026 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Age restriction: 18+ [16 & 17 with parental permission]
This class approaches wheel throwing as a practice in attention, rhythm, and presence. Through guided instruction, students are invited to slow down and engage the full sensory experience of working with clay - centering, opening, and shaping form in sync with breath and body.
Each session begins with a brief grounding exercise, followed by structured, quiet time on the wheel. Verbal prompts are offered throughout to support focus and awareness, helping students develop a more intuitive and responsive relationship to the material.
Due to the nature of this class, work created during the session will not be fired or taken home. The focus is on process, presence, and developing a deeper connection to the material.
